So weird question... I've been using tampons since I was a teenager so I am at a complete loss as to which pads are good and which are not. Any recommendations for what to use during recovery? TIA
Yes, anything that will absorb a lot of blood. After baby, I always lose clothes due to me just grabbing whatever pad and not paying attention. This time, Always is on my list.
Ive heard that Always Infinity, the max size and absorbtion, are great! This was told to me by a mom of five kids lol
Yes these! They are not thick uncomfortable pads. They are great. I have been told though that for the first few days though you may want to stick to the ones they give you at the hospital.
Glad you asked this question. I've been wearing tampons since I was a teenager as well. I went last weekend to get stuff to pack in my hospital bag and when it came to the pads I couldn't believe I was stumped. I ended up getting the always overnight brand. I think they have wings. They are ones in the orange individual wrapper.
Take extra of the telephone book sized ones from the hosptial-- I used those till i ran out (along with extra mesh panties-- awesome to just toss out, especially if its still really messy) for the first few days home. Then I bought the longest length infinity Always with wings I could find. I wore those for about two weeks, then switched to longer panty liners for another week or so.
