Pregnant ladies: when did your baby...

...flip into the head-down position?

Re: Pregnant ladies: when did your baby...

  • I don't recall exactly, but he's been head down at my last three or four appointments.

  • I'm not sure when he flipped, but at my 34 week appointment, the dr told me he was head down.
  • I have nothing to add except ~ hiya SEXY!
  • :shrugs:

No idea what sort of position the kid is in right now, but s/he must have flipped one way or the other in the last 24 hours b/c now I'm feeling movement in a different part of my lower abdomen.

  • I feel kicks non-stop and they are all SO LOW... it feels like she is kicking my cervix out.  Ha ha ha!  I can feel her head above my belly button, so I'm confident that she is still breech.

I know that it's still early... I was just curious when your babies decided to get in the correct position.  My son was in the head down position from the get-go.

  • Well, when I had my 3D u/s at 28 weeks, he was not head down yet.  So he flipped sometime between then and 34 weeks.

  • Mine flipped about a week ago and she is now at -1 station, we are just hoping she stays in there till christmas at this point.  If it helps at all my MW said she wouldn't worrk about the baby's position until 34 weeks

  • Mine have both been head down since at least 12 weeks, with the exception of a few days here and there where they decided to flip breech and then back again.
  • she was head down at our 28 week appt. ?not sure how far before that she flipped, but she's stayed that way ever since.
  • My DS's head was in my rib cage until about 36 weeks.  I delivered him less than 2 weeks after he flipped.  Guess he didn't like being upside down.
  • Seems to me that because you're only 21 weeks it's still too soon most babies flip as they grow, but my last DD never did; therefore I had to have a c-s   GL
