anyone has it ...or seen it personally.. i have wooden floors and my son is trying to crawl and stand up and he keeps bumping his head in the ground.. so i thought may be this would help..or any other cushioning large size mat u know of would help.. thanx

Not sure why the Skip Hop ones cost twice as much as the others. I bought some from Marshalls for $15. They sell them at BRU for $20

I have them on my hardwood floor. They are super soft.

partially because they are a fancy brand, but also partially because they (at least claim) to be free of some of the nasty stuff thats in other foam tiles.

I would recommend getting a cushiony rug instead. I had some of those foam tiles with DS1 and while they were great at first, he eventually learned how to take them apart and after that, that was all he wanted to do (well, that and bite chunks out of them). I eventually got rid of them, as they weren't serving their purpose scattered in pieces all around my house

I totally agree with this. Used mine for just a month or two.

SkipHop is the only that actually says safe for newborn and up, I don't remember what age the others claim but when I was looking at these for DD three years ago it made me freak out thinking that she might choke on the other less expensive ones since they are for 1 year and up. But, we ended up buying a set that were middle of the road cost wise and they worked great on our wood floors- they are in the top of the closet ready to go for this LO.

We just bought these a couple weeks ago using a 20% off coupon. I like the muted colors and my husband liked the fact it said for newborns. Also, I think they're 1/8" thicker (not sure that really matters). So far, we're happy with them.

We had a set and while they were really cute, I found that they didn't stay together well and the pieces would slide around our hardwoods. I wound up putting them away and got some much larger foam tiles from Sam's Club that were awesome. They stayed together great and they were large enough DDs really didn't try to take them apart. Plus they were much cheaper.
