  The less bells and whistles the better (the less to distract them with) and to me a pee guard is a must!

  We have the frog potty in both bathrooms and LO does well with it. We also have the bjorn seat that attaches to the actual toilet, but LO has a fear of the big toilet right now (otherwise I would love it).

  I want him to use the real toilet and he uses a real toilet at daycare that is just a mini size. We got a little stool and the Prince Lionheart Weepod based on a recommendation from another mom of a boy. It is great.

  None.  They make such a mess (the boys).  We used a stool and had DS sitting backwards on the real toilet.
