Success after IF

Happy Friday! What are your plans for the w/e?

Happy Friday, ladies!  I hope you and your LOs had a good week.

Good luck to those TTCing or waiting for b/w results.  I don't think we have any new mamas joining us this week, are there?

Do you have any special plans for the weekend for yourself and/or for your family?  Any fun events?

For those of you (myself included) who are in the NorthEast, please stay safe and stay warm!

Re: Happy Friday! What are your plans for the w/e?

  • We're staying in and waiting for the blizzard to pass. They say we might get 2 ft when it is over. DS's second birthday is Sunday so we might try to have a little gathering of friends who are within walking distance. We had to postpone his real party until next weekend. Stupid blizzard.

  • Happy Friday everyone!  Definitely stay safe and warm NE friends.  And GL and hugs to those who need them.

I already posted below, but MH and I are going to his company party at the museum downtown.  Then we are staying at a very fancy hotel over night, and going to a new fancy crepe place for breakfast Sunday.  I am super excited, but so nervous about leaving E.  I know she will be safe with my parents though.  Tonight we're just waiting for my parents to get in, it's a 6 hour drive so it will be late when they arrive.  And Sunday we may try to play a little golf before my parents go.  Sorry some of you are looking at a blizzard and I'm playing golf in a t shirt.  What a weird world.

  • So, this Sunday is the start of Chinese New Year (Year of the Snake).  I had planned a brunch for my cousin and sis-in-law (our only 2 relatives in the immediate area), but will be cancelling it b/c everyone will be too busy shoveling ourselves out!  I am still going to make a few food dishes for the New Year simply because I already bought the ingredients for them.

Anyway really no plans except hunkering down until the blizzard passes.  Hope we won't lose power.
