Unbearable Cramps

Around 9 this morning cramping started and has gotten worse. We're out of the country right now so I just dealt with it as long as I could. When I was doubled over in pain and crying I called my boss, an MD. Long story short I'm in a hospital now and waiting for results from blood and pee samples. Ultrasound scheduled for 2pm. Please send prayers and happy thoughts...it's difficult being in a developing country's hospital.

Anyone else with this type of extreme cramping?

    I had something like that at 6 weeks with my first pregnancy. My midwives were worried about an ectopic pregnancy and ordered an ultrasound. I turned out that I just had a larger than normal corpus luteum cyst. That equaled pain but no problem. I'm hoping you have just as simple of an answer. Keep us posted!

    Thanks for the support ladies! It really means a lot. Turns out I have an infection that showed up in the urine test. I have a good antibiotic and Tylenol for pain!
