Anyone....?  Anyone.....?  I know it's been a while since we've had one.

I thought I had one to share but now I've forgotten.  Drat.  Maybe it will come back to me....

    DS is a bit dramatic. So when he hurts himself (mildly-like falling over without hitting anything) or gets frustrated when he gets a toy stuck, I just sit by and wait for him to calm down on his own and figure it out. I know it sounds mean, and I fight with myself to not rush in and help him, but he needs this. I don't want him to be like this when he's 6!

    Also, my SIL has been posting on FB about going to gym and secretly, this ups the anty for me. It's now a race to loose more weight than her, but I don't plan on telling anyone. I know this is sad, but I need some kind of competition.

    I'm trying to keep it together about a procedure I'm having on Tuesday, but I'm really scared about what might be found. Everyone hates to hear the "C" word, but it's just worse when you have little kids to think about.

    I have let DD watch too much tv this week. I have so many excuses, but none of them are good enough to justify it. At least I engage with her while Sesame Street is on.

    Another one- I feel like I need to have DD be more social with other kids since I am one with her all day. Last week at our Book Babies class, all she wanted to do was walk around and explore and have nothing to do with the class. So this week, I'm not taking her to Book Babies because it seems pointless. I took her to the mall playground area that I feel is a mini cesspool of germs, but she loves being able to run around and explore and check out the older kids. So at least she is getting some socialization that way. I hate winter after Christmas!

    My department at work is having a big pot luck today.  I was too lazy this week to think about making anything and was running late this morning so I didn't have a chance to run through the grocery store.  Oops.  But I am going to participate in other people's food when I didn't bring anything myself.

    DD is at the stage where she gets so frustrated that she.can't speak for what she wants or how she feels that she just walks around the house yelling and screaming all day......I'm about to go crazy!

    Hugs!  I know how you feel.  I've been putting off scheduling a doctor's appt w/ a similar fear.  (I finally scheduled it yesterday.)  I'm hoping my symptoms are just related to stress, but they can also indicate "the big C".  I'll be thinking of you and hope it's nothing!  Please let us know (if you feel like sharing).

    Redcam and Natty - Hope you girls get good news.  I'm a little late on responding, but I'm playing catch up on TB and just wanted to send some good vibes your ways.  I'm sorry you girls are going through this.  :(

    Good thoughts to both of you! My FFFC, I've been MIA from The Bump for months. But I'm super bored at work today and am hoping that there's fun to be had on this board today!
