Glimmer of hope

So I had my two week appointment with the midwives. I had been to see a lactation consultant last week who thought Hannah might be tongue tied. Well the midwives confirmed the tongue tie and are referring her to get it snipped. So there is a chance I might be able to breast feed normally! Please send me your thoughts and prayers for next week. If I can get her breastfeeding that would be my dream!

Nov 2011~Third round clomid 50 mg: BFP
Dec 11- Beta #1 91;Dec 13- Beta #2 186.2
Dec 27- third miscarriage

Baby girl born Jan 23, 9lbs 3oz, 21 1/2" long

    Failed multiple cycles of Clomid+TI and Clomid+IUI

    3/2011 inj+IUI #1 BFP. 4/2011 missed m/c. 

    Fall 2011 inj+IUI #2&3 BFN

    Jan/Feb 2012 IVF#1 BFP 2/23  EDD 10/31/2012 ~~~ Halloween ~~~

    Our IVF miracle, Baby Boy M, arrived on 11/8/2012!

    I'm sorry she might have a tongue tie. But if clipping it works and gets her back to the breast, that would be awesome! Baby's suck stimulates milk production better than a pump. So it might help there too! Fx for you, sending lots of T and P.

    Sweet baby J was tongue tied. We had her snipped at 1 1/2 weeks. Some babies latch perfectly after a snip (like right there in the office!), others need more help.

    Because we had been bottle feeding breast milk, she didn't want the boob. We moved to a nipple shield and have been hiding out with that crutch. I got a kick in the pants at my 6w appointment today at the birthing center, so we are on 12h cold turkey for the nipple shield.

     So my long winded answer is holy cow it helps to get snipped. I'm almost there and still breast feeding. It is hard, but totally worth it!!

    TTC Since 3/2010
    Me-36, Unexplained Infertility, DH-35, all clear
    Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN
    Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst
    IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    Good luck!  I hope she can breastfeed.  It is so hard in the beginning, even without a tongue tie.  But after two months old, it's so easy!

    Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.
