How much is your LO taking in a bottle? I'm wondering if I need to add a little bit more to her 4oz bottles...

Happy 1/4 birthday!!

S takes 5 oz. bottles at 12w, but you really can't go by age/weight/other babies. If she's still giving you hunger cues after taking 4oz and being burped, then add 1/2 oz each feeding until she seems satisfied. Some babies are satisfied with less at each feeding and eating more often, some eat more and less often.

...And some are Mitten's son, who already eats like a teenage boy.

My 11 week old usually takes 4oz but just this week she's had a couple of midday feedings where's she's still been hungry and eaten 5.5 to 6oz.

My DS has always been a bit of a glutton, and is a comfort sucker as well - so I've been feeding him 4 oz. since he was like 6 weeks @~@ The past few days though, he's been playing catch up to a week of "here-and-there" feedings from teething, and he's been easily eating six ounces at a time. I just fallow his hunger cues

*But if he's just sucking on the nipple for comfort, we try to encourage his thumb/paci

My LO is a little over 3 months and is EBF. When she has gotten bottles she drinks 4oz.

But, she is one that likes to eat less, more often. So she eats every 2 hours, 3 sometimes.

I would say if she is acting hungry after being fed or wants to eat sooner than usual, add an ounce to her bottles.

2.5 months

She eats about 3.5 oz ever 2 hours (4 bottles total) while she is with the nanny. She's EBF at home, so I don't know what she is taking in.
