Try a neti pot or saline spray before taking any meds. If you're still really miserable then take something. Your doctor probably gave you a list of safe cold meds, if not, just google.

I have the same horrible head cold. It is miserable! I have been sucking on Halls when it gets really bad. They have the triple action kind that helps open things up. My OBsaid they are fine, and they have really helped me. But in the end I am mostly just miserable and waiting for it to go away.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2 After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Holy crap me too. I couldn't sleep at all last night b/c I could only breathe through my mouth, and my mouth got so dry that my tongue was sticking to the roof of my mouth.
I am going to try a netti pot today, and diffuse some eucalyptus essential oils in the room. We dont like to take OTC medicine, but if those things don't work, I'll call my midwife and ask what to do.

Original formula Sudafed is safe. It's the kind you have to ask for at the pharmacy counter and provide ID for, lest you're making meth in your basement
Re: horrible head cold
