Tummy Time Question

DD hates tummy time for the most part. I can have her on my chest or on my lap and she will lay on her stomach and push up just fine, but when it comes to leaving her on a blanket by herself she will just scream constantly. I lay next to her and pat her back to let her know I'm still there, but she still cries. Should I keep trying to leave her on her stomach or should I just stick to tummy time on my chest?

Same here. R hates TT. We prop him up on a small pillow and lay him on his tummy and he's fine. Likes it in fact!

We did what redwood did and now LO can stay on her belly a bit longer, holding up her head looking left and right. Keep trying.

My DS had bad gas the first two months, so TT was like Torture Time instead. He sometimes let me lay him on me when I was on my back - I guess my boobies served as pillows? The last month, I've just kept on trying, but unless he's got a cushiony pillow underneath, he'll scream and have a fit (though we are finally able to do for longer periods, so that's a relief). I'd say keep trying because it is important, but you just might have to get creative in order to get it done
