This may be a dumb question...
What is the difference between the 0-3 month pacifiers and the 3-6 month? They seem to be the exact same. I bought the same kind of soothie in both the 0-3 and 3+ and the only difference is the base of the pacifier seems to be a harder plastic. LO refuses to take the 3+ month. Does it hurt them to keep using the 0-3 month a little longer?

Re: Pacifiers - Explain
I had the sameproblem.. I think she use the first soothie so exclusivly there must be a taste / feel for it that she likes more, but I kept introducing the new one every few days and she will take either now.. i agreeit seems lik the material is less pliable. ALSO important lesson... gotta make sure to have interchangable soothies cuz what if you lose THE main soothie and they won't take a new one
FYI I am not going to fix all thedamn missing spaces... gotta make lunch
I was wondering about this a few weeks ago. Here is what I found:
"...Labeled for use up to 3 months. Babies should switch to the harder Super Soothie when they are biting through the softer green soothie or flexing it and putting the whole thing in their mouths. In most people's experience, babies younger than 6 months do not take the Super Soothie as well."
I love that we can do this and all of us moms know exactly how each other feel. Gotta get stuff done when we can lol
We have 3 or 4 of the 0-3 month soothies that he uses, its not really the same one every time. But, I bought some gumdrop pacifiers and I'm going to see if he likes them at all. If not, I will just have to continue using ole faithful lol

DD has used both pacifiers since day one. She only uses them probably twice a week and I think the fact that we switch them up makes her not get used to one over the other and need it. I hear it's tough to break the pacifier addiction, so I'm glad she doesn't seem to need it all the time!
