I'm posting on behalf of my wife, so don't hate me for not getting all of the details right ![]()
Our LO is due March 14th. So that would put her at 35 weeks exactly (this happened yesterday[Thursday] but I'm a night owl, and it still feels like the same day) He's been kicking/punching low for a couple days to a week now, putting in her more pain than when he was up high. She said a couple of times the pain today actually brought her to her knees twice. I asked her to try describe what it felt like (bear in mind I'm a guy and obviously don't know what stuff actually feels like, but I have tried to read up on it
) Anyway, she said it felt kind of like menstrual cramps, but a bit sharper. This happened in total 4 or 5 times through out the day, the first 2 times were fairly close together.
Is this anything to be worried about? Should we call the Dr.? We don't have another appointment until the 14th, so I feel like we should just wait and not bug the Dr. However, this is our first, and I tend to stress about things.
Thanx,
Justin
Re: Contractions? At 35 weeks?
Please tell her to call the office in the morning for advice and instructions from her doctor. It is not bothering your doctor as these are valid questions and concerns.
The fourteenth is a whole week away and remember there are two lives at stake here.
