Hubby and I were anticipating a baby boy however, we just found out that its a girl....ok fine
Initially, if it was a boy we were going to name the baby Maddox and since then have fell in love with that name.
Now heres the kicker. Since I love the name Maddox I was thinking of naming our baby girl Maddyx or Maddix.
Tell me I'm crazy...lol
Re: Another name for baby girl
I hate it, sorry. It's a trendy, big mess, and I see way too much potential for teasing. I would personally not give my daughter a name with the sound DICKS in it.
Other ideas-
Malin, Maren, Marina, Briar, Sloane, Arden, Adair, Leni, Suri, Shiloh, Brynn, Alita, Dana, Darcy, Rhea, Scarlett, Garnet, Harlow, Marlow, Scout

Okay - you're crazy.
Don't do it.
You're crazy. Maddox in itself is NMS, but at least it's a boy name. Maddyx/Maddix are butchered versions of a boy name, used on a girl. I don't think it sounds feminine or attractive. So no, I wouldn't name a baby girl Maddyx/Maddix and set her up for a lifetime of people expecting her to be a boy and having to spell her name. There are tons of beautiful girl names out there!
You're crazy!
What about something like Madelaine or Mathilda. You could call her "Maddie/Mattie" and she'd still have a normal, feminine, classic name to use.

I don't mind Maddox...for a boy.
I can't see a little girl named Maddix/Maddyx. I just can't. It sounds and looks terrible.
Also, adding an "i" or a "y" does not automatically make a name feminine. I dislike this trend.
Okay you have convinced me that I am nuts! ha
My husband has been giving me the side eye too.
