Supply question

I've been sick with the stomach flu right in the middle of DSs 12 week growth spurt. I went one day only eating a bowl of cheerios and I've managed two servings of oatmeal and a piece of pizza each day for the next two days. I'm drinking lots of water and eating these things for the BF benefits of the oatmeal and the calories in the pizza. It's all I can manage although tonight I'm starting to feel better. Should I be worried about my supply?

  • As long as you keep nursing and pumping, you may notice a dip but you should be ok.  Try eating oatmeal, which is a bland food as well as a supply booster.

  • I just went through this last weekend and my supply took a hit for a few days.  I've been dilligent about drinking tons of water and pumping (at work) and my supply has bounced back.  HTH.

  • I put flaxseed in my oatmeal which doesn't really have a taste so that may help bring your supply back up without being too harsh on your stomach! GL! Hope you feel better!
