Okay, I have to vent a minute. I feel very blessed to get to be a SAHM for now, but I am so worn out on coming up with ideas to keep him entertained throughout the day. By the evening, I am just about to come unglued b/c DS is so cranky and hard to please. His naps have always been crap, and now that he just takes 2 naps, he is beastly irritable by 4:00. I feel bad b/c I have been relying so much on DH to take over in the evenings when I know he really wants to get back into a workout routine. I really think I'm going to have to try to get that third nap back somehow. Mama is about to lose her last few remaining marbles!
Re: Vent: Worn out on entertaining baby
I am right there with you! The super cold and snowy weather is keeping us indoors more then usual too.I am counting down to spring time weather. I am not much help... But I feel for you!

I feel your pain. I SAH mostly but do some PT work and work from home a bit. DD has also dropped her 3rd nap and her night have been rough. Last night I finally got to sleep at 2:30 am
She plays by herself well, but is whinny when I am not by her.
I totally just realized that you're not a new poster. Your new siggy threw me off for a little while there. Did you used to have pics of DD's cute little feet/shoes?
Here is some advice have another baby?just partially kidding but my two-year old is great entertainment for the baby LOL. I hope this does not come off wrong but babies really don?t require 24-hour entertainment and the sooner you realize that the happier you will be and I think they are all cranky at night no matter what entertainment is available. Also, don?t feel bad for your husband I work full-time as does my husband and both of us have kid duty when we get home it is part of having children so while you don?t work outside the home it is not like you don?t need a break as much as he does because he worked at an office all day. As some of the PP said try breaking the day up If I was a SAHM I would totally find a gym with childcare J. Also, some kids nap some don't. DD was an awesome napper and still naps three hours a day at age three, DS not so much I am just now getting him on a schedule ugh
