What do you love about your dc being mobile?

I was just sitting here at work thinking about my sweet lo and how much fun we are having now that she's mobile, I wanted to start a thread so we could share!

I love that now when I am making dinner I can put lo down on the ground and she can explore. I stow the Tupperware in a low cabinet and put her in front of it and she can play there for as long as it takes me to make dinner. It makes her seem so grown up!

I also love how now when I leave her to go to another room, she whines but comes crawling right after me. It's so cute and she is getting Fast!

Finally, I love lying back and watching her explore. It must be so liberating for her to be able to go wherever she wants to go. I love watching what she chooses to explore. For example she loves to crawl over and stroke the shower curtain.

What do you all love about your little ones being mobile?

    I love when my husband comes home for work and James starts to go to him because he's so excited to see him.  It's so sweet, and it makes my husband's day.

    ummm, my DD2 is lazy (just like her big sister was) and isn't mobile. I am enjoying it while it lasts though. Stick out tongue

    DS is still not mobile yet, and he is mad as heck about it. *sigh* It's nice to see the fun things we have to look forward to, though.

    I was loving it yesterday but ran to respond to screaming in my LO's room this am only to find him standing in his crib gripping the top rail and screaming in terror. Nap fail #1 and apparently afternoon nap with DS went the same way.  Until he figures out how to lie back down from standing I am going to be wishing he'd just slow down on the moving!

    He looked so old standing up like that, it was my first growing up too fast moment :(

    My little guy isn't mobile yet. 

    It's fun to watch his chubby little feet and legs bounce up and down in his jumper.  I'm not sure why, but it makes me laugh.  Once he hears me laugh, he turns and laughs at me with his big toothless smile. It makes my day.
