A drug rash. Perfect.

So I headed into L&D last night because I had a headache that would not go away with Tylenol and my BP was 154/98. Get there, get checked out, everything's ok (stable), they give me Fioricet for the headache, we go home, it's 11pm. I wake up at 2am scratching my right ear. WTH?! Why is my ear itchy? Oh wait, why is my face hot? Look in the mirror in the bathroom...HOLY RED FACE, especially my cheeks (almost looked like a sunburn)! I figure...ok it's a reaction from the med...no trouble breathing, no other outward signs of anything. I go back to bed and get up at 6...this time I look like a red faced, puffy monster! And the fine, lacy rash is now covering my body! I took a Benadryl, drank a ton of cold water and went back to bed. Yup, it's still there and I've since called my OB, was given the same instruction of what I've been doing and to call my PCP if it gets worse. Clearly, I'm just venting. I'm at my whits end with the PIH turning pre-e, nevermind adding this to it! Thankfully I have to head back to L&D this afternoon to drop off a 24 hour urine/have an NST/BP check. Baby is doing wonderfully and that is all I am worried about. I am so thankful for that!!! Okay, I'm done. Thanks for reading my saga
