Bedtime attire?

Our boys are outgrowing their current sleepsacks and I'm debating whether or not it is worth it to spend $40 more of the next size up.  We still have a couple more months of 'winter weather' around these parts but I'm worried they will be too warm in them once spring rolls around (someday!)  Do/did your babies sleep in a sleep sack year round?  What did your babies wear to bed in the summer?  We have our MoM's spring sale coming up next month so trying to plan what to stock up on!

Re: Bedtime attire?

  • I just transitioned to zip up sleepers and they are fine. Do you live near Seattle? My MoM group sale is in a month, so was wondering!

  • We always just have them in zip up fleece sleep-and-plays in the winter and light cotton ones in the summer (accept for when they were little and swaddled). But we also keep the house pretty warm at night.  If it's really cold sometimes I'll put onsies on under the jammies.

  • I do fleece in the winter and cotton in the summer. Keep an eye on babysteals. They frequently have Halo sleepsacks at great prices.

  • Mine wear onesies, carter's fleece zip up jammies, and fleece Halo sleep sacks right now. Our older home isn't exactly even temperatured. Their room seems to stay right at 69-70 according to our baby monitor. I just ordered some cotton Halo sleep sacks for summer 1/2 price from Zulilly. It's the second time I've been able to order them from that site, so you might want to join and see if they have a Halo event again.

  • We used the Miracle Blanket until they were literally busting out...OMG those things SAVED us.

Then we transitioned to regular sleep sacks - and honestly used them until my girls grew out of them which was when they were about 1.5 maybe? We used the cotton sleeveless ones in the summer (in Florida) and the fleece sleevless in the "winter"...again in Florida.
