The post about pumping at Wrigley Field made me think of two things.
1. It is almost baseball season, and that makes me incredibly happy.
2. I'm going to have to start traveling for work again soon, and I don't know what I'm going to do with my boob juice.
I travel anywhere from 25-50% of the time for work, sometimes overnight. I would hate to pump and dump just because I'm away from home, but I'm not sure how I would be able to transport the milk in the event I have to fly.
Does anyone else travel for work? Any ideas?
Re: s/o Pumping and Travel
Awesome. I had asked one of my airline clients, and she was pretty sure it had to be checked.
Do you fly with it in a cooler and icepacks?
Well, luckily, due to the nature of what I do, I get access to employee areas of the hotel. Since that's where I'm working and all. I can imagine it could be a pain to have to get into the freezers otherwise, though.
Thanks. I'm going to print it out and bring it, just in case. Some small-market airports don't seem to be well versed in the rules.
I don't travel for work but I have flown with BM and its pretty easy, you can either check it if you feel comfortable and its properly stored in a cooler or such or you can carry it on, BM is allowed through security, if you bring an ice pack you just have to make sure it is completely frozen, or you can use ice dump it going through security and fill it up on the other side.
I'm with you...no dumping, BM is wayyyy to precious to me, save it any way possible! Since you travel for such a short time at a time you should be able to easily store and save!
