Anyone snowshoe?

I am heading out on my first adventure today.  I've heard it's a workout, so we'll see how it goes!!

    I took my Nike Sportwatch to gauge the mileage and did 2.25 miles and really had a good time.  I am going out tomorrow morning too!

    If it involves snow, I just can't.  Sad, I know...but I am just so anti-snow...and my husband isn't much better about it!  Our poor child is going to be deprived of sledding and all that other 'fun' winter stuff.  Except maybe ice skating.  We do have indoor rinks around here.

    Yep! I did twice this winter and it was fun! We only have snow in the mountains, which are about 45 minutes away so I don't get up there all that often, but when I get the chance I'm going to keep doing it. So peaceful and beautiful up there in the snow. Here's a pic of my last trip:

    I don't snowshoe but we'll hike the ski slopes at night or well packed trails using STABILicers cleats.  I love hiking in the winter!
