1:42. No glue what time Baby H fell asleep cause he was asleep earlier but woke up while I was about to go to bed so DH had the last shift. It couldnt have been too long agp bc I went to bed at 11. Up now to eat. Im hoping he'll quickly fall back to sleep and do a good stretch.
11:40 here, I'm the only one still up but that will be fixed soon. DH got the baby to sleep while I was bathing big sis, then she decided she had to poop and sat there for an hour before producing one of the hugest poops I have ever seen! She's a habitual big pooper, no idea how she manages it. We've almost never NOT had to use the plunger afterwards. So anyway, DD1 went to bed an hour late because of that, hope she's not a crankypants in the morning.
My left boob has felt really engorged tonight and I just noticed there's a red spot. No other symptoms but I'm about to pop some ibuprofen and pass out, hope the redness is gone tomorrow. I guess this is the aftermath of the growth spurt.

V and I were sleeping by 10:00. He was up at 1:45 fussing, just played paci and repositioning game for last hour. I think he's finally settled. I need to get back to sleep---5:30 comes very quick and back to work yesterday exhausted me.
On a happier note a few people suggested rolled up hand towels under crib sheet....that and the "miracle swaddle blanket" with one arm out seem to have helped a bit. Still might consider ordering that Merlin sleep suit.....
I haven't checked in for a while, but I've been up every night... believe me.
I think our growth spurt is over. She had a few nights where she was up and eating a lot more than usual. And the 3 month sleeper I put her in last night is prettttty snug. She's a beast.
I'm just trying to decode her sleeping patterns. I've become slightly obsessed with getting her to nap regularly in hopes of creating some predictability. So far, the only "sure thing" is that she falls asleep in the carseat when we take DS to school. I keep her in there and she will sleep 4 or 5 hours most mornings! The bad part is we have to put her in tere and rock her in it to get her to sleep like that on days DS doesn't go to school. The afternoon naps are a crapshoot.
1:30 here. Changed and fed LO who went down around 6-6:30pm. He has 4 month shots in a few hours--so I am hoping that we both get some rest before hand.
I did 2 month shots by myself because my H was working days, now he's on nights and I will be going to this appointment solo as well (will get home too late to go to Dr.'s)
At least he will be here when we get back!
Here's hoping for great night sleep (in however short increments) for all!
2:38 here. It's one of those moments where I woke up wondering why my baby hasn't woken up yet. He's gone 6 hours plenty of times, but not recently. Anyway, he's twitching and grunting, so i think going back to bed might be a waste. But it might not be a waste. I'm sure I'll have an ETA.
ETA: I did go back to bed. H didn't wake up until 4 am! The key is to not expect this to happen again.
3AM and... We?re up again. What happened to my sleepy little guy? He was doing 7 hr stretches, then last week we were up every couple hours (which I attributed to growth spurt/wonderweek), then 2 nights of long stretches, and now he is waking up every 2 hours or so.
5:03.
So I bought a new set of SwaddleMe'sbecause his other ones were getting too small. These seemed a little long, do I had to pull them down when he went in them. Didn't buy the sleep sack swaddle which I wanted so he could move his legs because I read that the swaddle has covered babies faces.
Sooooo I woke up to his loud grunting, he was trying to get to his hands to suck and the extra fabric slipped up and covered his face!! So terrifying! I'm wide awake now.

5:20. Up nursing M. He slept for a good 4 hour stretch from 812. I fed him and then was up every hour giving him his paci. It's an okay situation but it's starting to get old. He sleeps once we give him his paci, but he wakes up once he loses it. If he's hungry he spits it out when I give it to him so I'll feed him. I don't know how to help him sleep without it at this point until he's old enough to start sleep training. Oh well, I guess it's what works for us at this point.

5 am nd CJ is sleeping on my shoulder. His reflux has been bad the last couple of days (just threw up on me again), so i am keeping him upright for 20 min brfore trying toput him down. We were out shopping tonight and his schedule is all off. He didn't go to bed till after midnight and now Im beat. I just hope we get another long stretch.
Cj and I are going to spend the morning at daycare. I go back to work Monday and so we are going to visit in order to give him a chance to get used to the woman for a couple of hours. Iam happy with our care. He will be at an in home with only one other child. The woman used to be a nursery school teacher and has her ece. She does lots of activities with the kids including walks, story time at the library and time at the park in nice weather. I am happy he will get lots of stimulation and attention where he is going, but I am also nervous and sad that he will not be with me all day. Fortunately I teach and will be off the next week so I can ease into it a bit.
Any suggestions for things I should let her know about or questions I need to ask? CJ is EBF and I will be sending bottled with him any tips I should share with her in that regards?
Hope everyone is getting some sleep tonight.

Aaaand we're up. Not because of the baby, but because of big sis. I'm not sure who I'm more upset with right now, her or DH. He thankfully got up with her for once in his life but managed to turn the whole thing into a power struggle. Now over an hour later she's finally quieting down in there but I have a feeling she's not asleep yet. And she managed to wake the baby, who had been soundly asleep. Now I'm up nursing the baby back down and fuming about the whole thing.
This and that, how scary! I'm so glad everything is ok.

Laxkal, good luck tomorrow and on Monday. It sounds like you found a wonderful place for CJ to go. I don't have any advice...brain is too fried right now...but I'll be thinking of you guys.
