I should join the check in....I've only done it once, and I need to put on a bathing suit in a few short months...it'd be nice to not hide under a muumuu.
I think there are quite a few of us doing it. I will participate in a check in until you skinny bishes start flaunting your weight loss because I am on day 5 and I have gained weight
Eta: I am not directing skinny bish at anyone in particular- it is all in good fun
Is the 30ds good for plus size women? I have a hard time finding DVD's that cater to someone who is TOTALLY out of shape. There are some things I just cannot do..at least not yet..but I really want to get healthier and lose some weight.
I'm in... I started it as a New Years resolution and then gave myself my birthday off and never started it again....I need to get back on that....I only do it 3 days a week though

They have some modified positions for some of the exercises for beginners. And you can just go at your own pace at first.
When I say this..im thinking like..P90X hard. I can't do MOST of p90x...so you're saying MOST things in here I would be able to do at a very beginner level? If so, i'm all for it. How often do you do the dvd? Is there more than one routine? Do you do different workouts on different days? Is anyone running, too?
It isn't that hard (I mean, I sweated and this was day 1 so of course I wasn't sore yet... I'm sure tomorrow and the next day will hurt). It's very basic moves like jumping jacks and crunches.

I want to start doing it again as well. I did it until I got pregnant the first time before I mis-carried, then I stopped doing it. I need to start again!
I also did P90X before we were TTC and I found it hard to begin with, it did get easier. I found 30DS alot easier (and by easier I mean that I could stick with it better) and I liked that they showed the modified versions that you could do. I started with those and after awhile moved on up to the harder versions.
I am going to plan on starting on Friday. Not sure why Friday, but that's my goal!
I did it - interesting with DD in the Jumperoo looking at me all WTF? and DS getting kicked once as he played with his Tranformers RIGHTBEHIND me - oops!
Also, I don't have weights yet and used 2 Chunky Soup cans
I'm in! I don't think I will do it every day, I've been walking and running at the high school. I LOVE that they've opened our school up in the evenings to walkers and runners and mapped out routes. If you get 100 miles in 100 days, you get a shirt.
Seriously, I hate Jillian and love her at the same time. I have ripped in 30 too.

YES! I did this 2 years ago when I started on my "weightloss journey". It's not easy but it gets you there. Its a continuous workout for 20 minutes so have some H2O nearby. I noticed a huge difference in myself after the month. I just took it slower than other people. It took me a couple weeks before I felt comfortable going to level 2. It jumpstarted me losing 50 lbs! I got a bit bored with the workout after a while so DH and I joined a gym and we haven't looked back! You can do it mama...btw it's like $10 and some weights in your own home. So don't be selfconscious about it!
I NEED to do this. I just need to find time to do it. Ugh, maybe a check-in will keep me motivated to work out at 8:30 at night, but I'm usually just.too.tired.
So, yes a check-in, I need to feel motivated/guilted into doing it.
And for those asking how hard it is, there are modified positions and the last time I did it, I was completely out of shape (I am again too), and it's hard at first, but doable. Jillian even makes comments like "I have 300lb people who can do a jumping jack, so you can too!"
Every time I do it, I come upstairs and tell DH that I feel like Jillian is going to yell at me if I don't try my hardest during the video.
