We keep going back and forth, every time we have "the one" a week later it's "what about ..."
We have 4 weeks left! Pressure!
We want a traditional name, but not too boring. Big sister is Allison Jane
We are down to these 4, please help us pick! I love them all
Caroline (no middle name yet)
Mary Katherine (nn Mary Kate)
Katherine Emily (nn Kate)
Emily Margaret
Re: 4 classic girl names, can't choose!!!
Caroline -- love it
Mary Katherine -- I just think of the SNL skit. How about Willa Katherine (Willa Kate)?
Katherine Emily -- great name
Emily Margaret -- great name
Pipsqueak born 6/9/14
Caroline would be my first choice and Katherine Emily a close second.
Mary Kate reminds me of the Olsen sisters and Mary Katherine just reminds me of the SNL skits (superstar!)
I really like the name Caroline, but the fact that almost everyone has given it a thumbs up is a big red flag for me... I think it's going to become really popular, really soon. Not sure if that matters to you.
I agree with pp that Emily and Allison are the best sounding sibset. Very cute. I also like Emily Margaret the best of your FN/MN options. Second choice would be Mary Katherine... Mary is at the top of our list if we have a DD#2. It's so simple, but so pretty!
Really like the name Katherine, but the NN Kat or Kathy aren't my favourite. Plus Emily doesn't sound the greatest as the MN choice.
Good luck deciding!
Caroline is gorgeous. A nice mn combo might be Caroline Emilia/Amelia.
I don't necessarily think Caroline is going to become super popular. I just think it's a little bit off the beaten track from Mary, Katherine, and Emily while still being very beautiful, feminine, and classic. Any of the names are great, though. Good luck!
Spontaneous pregnancy #1

Spontaneous pregnancy #4= Ectopic #3
Spontaneous pregnancy #5= Baby #3 is a BOY!!!
Caroline (no middle name yet) - cute
Mary Katherine (nn Mary Kate) - MK and Allie is too close to MK and Ashley for me
Katherine Emily (nn Kate) - too many syllables
Emily Margaret - ok
I like all of these names individually, I just don't love them together.
I am biased because I have a Katherine (nn Kate) so I vote for Katherine Emily.
My second choice would be Mary Catherine, then Caroline, then Emily Margaret.
They are all great! You really can't go wrong!

I like Emily Margaret best .... followed by Caroline. You could always do Caroline Emily.
IMO, Mary Katherine sounds like a nun name .... maybe it's because it was one of the nun's names in the movie Sister Act. Katherine Emily is nice ... I do like the nn Kate .... that's my dd's mn.

Caroline and Emily are two of my favorites of all girl names.
Not a big fan of the name Katherine, only because I always think "catheter".
I'm with you-and we have similar taste
Our picks are Emily Marie; Caroline Marie; Elizabeth Marie-My hubby's fave since its his grandma's name is Catherine but my niece has a double name and the second name is Kate so that is nixed.
I'm really no help for you since I love all your names (besides Mary Katherine) and am having the same problem. were leaning toward Emily (Emmy) though.
