Or does it suck when our LOs are sick? Not only do I feel helpless as a mom but I feel like life stops. I feel for my little guy who has a fever, cough, and plugged nose. Anyone have any magic fairy dust to make him better? How do you not stress over your LOs being sick?

I agree it's very hard. I think it does get a little easier each time but still you feel helpless. It's a little easier now than when my DS was an infant because even though he gets sick he still is running around like crazy so it reassures me he will be ok.

I wish I had magical fairy dust to make them better. If I did I would share. I hope your LO gets feeling better soon.

I hate it too. I always wish I could take it away and be sick myself instead, but then they usually share the wealth with me and by the time they begin to feel better I feel like garbage.

They always seem to bounce back a lot quicker than I do too

When DD had a cold, it wasn't too bad because she handled it pretty well. When she cut her bottom teeth, same thing. Fast forward a couple of months to now, when she's been cutting two top teeth at the same time -- MISERABLE. She has been having trouble sleeping, doesn't want to take her bottles because it's uncomfortable, so she isn't getting enough calories, and I'm totally stressed out trying to find ways to sneak more calories into her purees so she isn't starving, trying fifty different types of teething toys looking for the magic one that will make her feel better, etc. It definitely sucks feeling worried and helpless.

I'm sorry your LO is sick. It definitely sucks. You wish you could just take that pain away. I hope LO is feeling better soon.

Definately not just you, it is awful when your LO is sick. I think it will be better as they get older & can use verbal cues to let you know what they need or tell you what is wrong. Try not to stress yourself out, you are doing all you can do & he will be better before you know it. I hope you are feeling ok.
