My beta went up to 172 but doubling time is up to 76 hrs. Not looking very promising. I go back on Friday for another test. I'd rather it just end now than get to an u/s with an empty sac.

CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE

DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!
FET 11/17/12: transferred 2, one 4B, one 4C. Beta 11/30:BFFN

I'm so sorry. Its so not fair. I've been through that a few times and its pure h*ll on earth.
I'm sorry if this is bad timing to ask... you mentioned in your Intro post about immune issues. Do you have any known issues? Have you tested with an RI? The reason I ask is that I had autoimmune problems and wasn't able to carry to term until those issues were handled.
Again, I am sorry for your situation and know the pain and disappointment and resentment and all the questions and doubts and everything that goes with it.
I think you may be confusing me with someone else? I have not had any immune testing and no known issues. I've never had an embryo with my OEs that had any hope of implanting and the embryos with my first DE cycle were terrible. This was the only time we had something "capable" of implanting. This was our final cycle so it doesn't really matter at this point. But thanks for the suggestion.

12-2012-after being with our agency over a year and only shown to EM once we decided to talk with RE about DEIVF. Thru a crazy sequence of events we decided to go for it and we picked a donor MUCH quicker than anticipated
1/13/2013-started lupron with anticipated transfer in mid Feb.
ER 2/15 resulted in 15 eggs/10M/6F with ICSI.
2/18 transferred 1-8cell and 1-9cell embie. Snuggle in little embies.
positive on HPT 6dp3dt. Could this really be IT?!?! Beta 14dp3dt=2440. U/S scheduled for 3/20.

We live in Seattle and used SRM for our donor egg IVF cycle
I have also been in beta hell and it was one of the worst times of my life.
Please know you will get through this. The horrible, heavy and at the same time empty feeling in your chest that makes it hurt to breathe will go away.

You and Jalara really captured what I am feeling. But this was our last chance so I'm afraid this feeling of emptiness will be there forever. We aren't doing any more cycles. I just feel like all of this was such a waste of time and pointless.

I will tell you the rawness will subside, but you're right, the emptiness never completely goes away.
I can't even believe you're having to go through this after all you have been through. I am so sorry you have repeatedly fallen on the wrong side of the odds, despite doing everything in your power to increase your chances.
I hate that you are hurting like this.
I hope you and YH are somehow able to find peace through this terrible time.
