baby proofing

The "baby walkers" post got me thinking about baby proofing, which we have done none of since DD hasn't started crawling yet. But it's better to start now. So, tell me what you've done to baby proof your house!

Also, we need some way of securing our flatscreen TV & some way to make sure DD doesn't get into the cat litter....any ideas? Thanks!

    I got some straps for the TV and furniture at Amazon. So far, we plugged all the outlets and removed any small objects from the floor.

    LO is not crawling yet.

    We moved in November so we have to redo all of our baby proofing from DS. We started with putting up gates, plugged all outlets, baby locks on important cabinets (such as under the kitchen and bathroom sinks where cleaning supplies are), door handle locks on any doors that have stairs(like the basement), and put a gate around the fireplace. Anything else will come as she starts to explore but that was a starting point for us with DS and pretty much worked very well.
