First cold update and dh vent
So last night dd got a lot worse. I ended up letting her snooze on my in the recliner. She slept off and on but couldn't breath through her nose at all, no matter how much we suctioned. This morning she has a really bad deep cough and fever. We are seeing the pedi this afternoon, so hopefully she will feel better soon.
On to my dh vent. He usually feeds her her bottle and puts her to bed while I take my shower. Needless to say when I got out of the shower dd was still up crying and he was watching tv. Really? So I fed her put her in her crib and tried to rub her back and get her to fall asleep. She screamed so that's when I decided the recliner was our best option. Dh decided he would go in our room and finish watching his show because he couldn't hear it over dd crying a hole she woke up at 2 screaming and it took me awhile to get her quiet. He never came to check on us. Then at 5 she woke up again screaming so I gave her a warm bath and he got up and shut the door to the bedroom cause we were being too loud. When he got up to go to work he made a comment about us being loud last night . I told him it must be nice to only have to worry and take care of yourself. Usually he is so good with her and takes over when he gets home , but with her being sick and fussy he doesn't want to "deal" with her. Vent over!

that sucks!!
but i definitely think its our mama instincts that kick in to high gear to take care of our little ones....i don't know if this is true with your hubby or not, but it seems like when guys get sick they become the biggest baby and absolutely can't do anything for themselves lol. they just don't have that motherly bond i guess...i always try to go above and beyond for our baby boy and hubby is just like "...eh" lol
