Sex and spd

Does sex make spd worse? My spd is already terrible and DH and I had sex recently but I don't know if my spd is worse because of that or just painful in general because I have a bowling ball between my legs.

    We haven't had sex since my SPD symptoms came over three weeks ago. Which sucks because my sex drive had been higher than ever in the few months preceding this pain. :S I really have no desire to do anything sexual anymore because every movement hurts but I told DH that we could still do some stuff. He doesn't think we should have sex because I'm on rest and doesn't think it's fair for me to pleasure him if I don't get to enjoy (all of) the same. Normally I would say that he's being ridiculous...but, honestly, I have no desire anyways.

    Sorry that I couldn't answer your question. Just thought I'd chime in with my (non) experience of sex and SPD. lol

    We haven't been doing much in the bedroom b/c it gives me so many contractions but we had a babymoon 2 weekends ago and we finally DTD and other than contractions I wasn't in any more pain than normal- that being said my SPD basically has me chronically in pain and uncomfortable so....yeah. I will say my SPD pain has gotten DRAMATICALLY worse this week and I can't figure out why- baby definitely hasn't dropped or anything but it was like as soon as I hit 34 weeks it got markedly worse and my chiropractic care doesn't seem to be helping anymore either :-(

    Yeah my spd has gotten ten times worse recently, but my DS is extremely low and last I knew his head was measuring a month ahead. Also I'm on my feet a lot as I work in a hospital and am shadowing a nurse for school about 30 hours a week. It doesn't hurt to DTD, and quite frankly I was happy to do it because sperm has prostaglandins in it and I can't take much more of this pregnancy lol, I do not need to go past my due date with all this pain!

    I think it just depends on your body... about a month ago sex actually helped my SPD, now I am unsure... the baby bump is just so huge I blame everything on that right now...
