When your LO falls asleep in the car, do you ever just keep driving around and/or sit in your car in the driveway or parking lot until he wakes up? I can't move DS's carseat without waking him, so a lot of times I will just hang out in the car with him until he wakes on his own. He only takes 45 minute naps most times anyway. I really wish there was a way to get him in the house without waking him, but it is what it is. I just wondered if anyone else is ranking up major points in cell phone Solitaire, too.
Re: Sleeping in the car
It depends really. If she was super cranky I'll keep driving around or just park and eat something so she can get a short nap in. Otherwise I'll just carry the carseat in where ever I'm going and if she is tired enough she will just fall back asleep.
No solitaire for me. I play Tetris.
Wow , no . How do you have time for that ?
If it's his naptime and he falls asleep in the car, I'll carry him in since we're still using the infant carrier and he'll stay asleep. If it's not his naptime I take him out of the carrier so he wakes up.

LOL I feel a little bit better now knowing that I'm not the only one. (You don't have your motor running in a closed garage though, right?! Just making sure.) I am amazed at all the babies who sleep through having their car seats moved. DS always wakes up the moment I even attempt to lean over to hit the release.
No way, the garage door was open! I had to pee and was super thirsty, but I stuck it out cuz he still hasn't napped much at daycare. This nap turned out to be an hour and a half!
