Not rolling over

My LO turns 6 months today and is not rolling over. He's done it twice from front to back but usually he just lays on his stomach and cries until i finally give in and flip him over. Which leads me to think he will never flip back to front because he hates being on his tummy. Is anyone else's LO not rolling over?

My little guy is 6 and half months old and only has rolled over from front to back a handful of times. The Dr said that not to worry about it, that is one of those milestones that some babies skip- not as important as we new moms make it to bed.

My LO had only rolled a handful of times at 6 months. When I asked the ped, he said that as long as she had done it once, not to worry about it!

My LO rolled from back to tummy at exactly six months. he didn't really start doing it purposely until seven months... he doesn't roll all over the place... but he definitely rolls over whenever he is placed on his back. he even sleeps on his tummy now.

My LO is on the bigger side and really laid back. i am trying to enjoy it instead of stress over it!

we didn't start to roll over until around 7 months, and we JUST started to army crawl about a week or so ago... It'll happen! don't worry!

My LO is almost 7 months. She has rolled both ways but she isn't really interested in it and never does it. I wouldn't stress about it if he is doing well with other things. He'll know how to roll by the time he's 20 Wink

This for us too. DD2 is 7.5 months and only rolls over (back to tummy) once in a rare while. Whenever she does roll over, she freaks out because she hates being on her tummy. She has never rolled from her tummy to her back. Our pedi also said this isn't something to worry about because it's not a true "milestone." Some babies just skip over doing this.

DS is 8 months and just started rolling consistently. He had done it once or twice before but hated tummy time too. I wouldn't worry; he'll roll when he's ready.

This is us exactly. 8 months today and he just started rolling a lot in the last two weeks. Up until lately, he had rolled only a handful of times. Like you I was worried, asked my pedi, and she wasn't worried as long as it had been done. Also, he was sitting on his own at 6 months which she said was an indicator that he was fine.

I was really worrying about this too so I feel way better now. My little guy was a preemie but his adjusted age is six months and he's rolled from front to back a few times and nearly back to front (he did it but it was on the couch with a slight incline) and he just seemed totally uninterested. He scoots around with his legs to get things, he rolls up on his side to reach things, he sits up, he reaches and grasps, he pushes up and he has no interest at all in rolling.
