Chicco keyfit/double stroller

Hi ladies! I want to take advantage of the babies r us trade in event which ends this weekend for our double stroller purchase. We have the chicco key fit infant carrier and I am looking for a good double stroller that fits the key fit. So far I know the chicco brand and city mini works fine. I only want to spend 350 for a stroller so the City Mini has been eliminated. What do you all suggest??

  • The city mini double was on sale at albeebaby a few weeks ago for 299 if you want to check there.

We have the city mini single for our DS but found the double to be way too big for us and didn't like how the infant car seat attached. We opted for the Contours Options LT. We got it on amazon on sale and with their recent amazon moms special sale we got it for 180! Amazing price. It's lightweight at 33lbs, and I love that the seats come off and on and go in any direction. The only thing I didn't like was it didn't come with a parent console so we had to buy separate, as well as kids cup holders. Very excited to start using it this Spring when DS2 is born! GL with your search.

  • This stroller fits the chicco key kit?

  • I got the Mia Moda Compango stroller. I found it for $60 at a consignment shop, but BRU website has it, and it is compatible with the Chicco Keyfit carseat. Its nice but I will say not a whole lot of sitting room when the front seat is reclined to hold the carseat. But, DD1 runs around so much she doesn't need much sitting space. Another option is to just get whatever you like, to use once baby can sit in a stroller, and just baby wear before then. When I was looking to get the double and trying to find the few that go with the Keyfit, it was pointed out to me that you may not really use it a whole lot, or at least not much in the months that baby is too little for a stroller seat anyway. So maybe consider how much you may really need or use it those first few months, and maybe you don't even need one that fits your infant seat?

Which one? The Contours Options LT fits a whole list of infant car seats. This link has the list but Chicco is one of them!

I know you can purchase an infant car seat adapter for the Baby Jogger City Mini, but you will have to check if it specifically fits the Chicco.. I don't see why not though!

  • The Combi twinsport fits the keyfit. It doesn't snap it or anything, but if you lay one of the seats flat, the carrier will wedge down in very nice and secure. U can try it out at babies r us

  • Joovy scooter x2, britax b agile, but both would need an adapter bar I believe. Joovy ultralight if you want a sit and stand style stroller.
  • The Jeep Travler Tandem  & Zooper Trooper are optionswith your seat as well.  You wouldn't need an adaptor bar. I did see the Combi and Babies R Us (Baby Trend) double umbrellas, but I am almost 100% sure they just work with those seats. I did find this article if it will help you. I's still debating on double strollers & may babywear LO #2 for the first few months if I don't find something I like.
