Gah. I Did Not Truly Realize....

How much I drank before my BFP!
We just opened our liquor cabinet to take stock of what we had... we had just moved to our house and stocked up a short while after that then I got pregnant.
Anyway, so DH is saying, "Oh. Wow. Everything is like almost totally full still!"
And I'm all, "Really? What about my rum?"
And he grabbed it and busted out laughing, "No. This is almost empty."
::sigh::
So he makes himself a mixture and asks me if I want something.
"No."
He goes back to grilling burgers on the back porch, which it just so happens you can see into the kitchen from where I'm sauteing some veggies.
When I decide I'll go ahead and pour a drink.
...then I hear, "That's my girl!"
But guys. I've been saved. I don't drink hardly at all anymore. So don't worry. No need to call any sort of authority.

Oh geesh! I stopped drinking about 1 year before my BFP (just to prep my body) and also because I TOTALLY am like that Blake Shelton song..."The More I Drink..." There is a line there--"if I have 1 have 13," yep one is so good I have to have another...and another!
ha ha! Enjoy it and don't feel bad. Hard working mama's deserve a wind down! I just ate a double chocolate brownie AND king size Baby Ruth (*insert Chunk Giff here!) ha ha!

I miss my happy hours the most. I used to go to a bar and hang out with all the regulars. So much fun. They haven't seen me since a found out I was pregnant. Too bad, soo sad for me. LOL Now in a few years I'll just be the mom with wine in my thremos at the weekend sport tournements!
