  I'm sure that is possible. You could be involuntarily/subconsciously tensing up with each one. Labor if thats what youre experiencing is a mysterious and powerful thing! Best of luck! Keep us posted!

  I'm a FTM but it makes sense. You tense when you are stressed, and I'm pretty sure a contraction would fall under the stressful category!
