Baby John Mark Jr is here! He arrived on 2/1/13 @ 12:21pm. He was 5 lbs 13 oz and 19 inches long. I had an amazing birth experience at a freestanding birth center with a CPM. I will to post a birth story later when I have more time but it was the most intense, most amazing, rewarding....I could go on and on.

In short, after a night of painful contractions my water broke at 6:20am. Within an hour I was really struggling with the contractions and we called the MW. She said to come on to the birth center. We got there at about 9am and I was 5 centimeters. Soon after I got into the birthing tub. At some point I told the MW that I wanted to push (actually, I had no choice) she checked me and I was complete so I pushed for 28 min (felt like 5 min to be honest) and he was here! I didn't tear at all and all is well with baby John! I could not be happier and I am totally and completely in love!
