Intro (sorry so late...!!)

Hello ladies!!

I apologize for the lateness of this introduction....after welcoming our sweet little guy on the 16th I have been a little overwhelmed with motherhood and can't believe how the time is flying by!  

For those who don't know me, I'm Freya and have previously been active on TTCAL and PgAL following two miscarriages.  I am hoping that I can be a supportive member of this board as well.

We have been doing "okay" so far at home. After a rough labor and delivery (posted here if anyone is interested: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/71518090.aspx ), I struggled with some milk supply issues which lead to kind of a rocky (emotional) few weeks. Currently our little guy is gaining weight with expressed breast milk and I am healing more every day. I keep finding myself remembering where I was a year ago this week, waiting for the confirmation of a blighted ovum diagnosis and feel so blessed that here I am now, holding this beautiful little guy in my arms!

    Hooray!  Welcome aboard :)  And, time does fly!! I think we can all agree on that one!!

    Congratulations! I think I may have missed your birth announcement. I'm so glad to "see" you on here. The first few weeks can be rough and I'm glad they seem to be getting better.

    BFP#1 12/18/10 EDD 8/28/11 | 2/14/11 discovered that our baby girl had anencephaly D&C 2/17/11 at 12.5 weeks | no O or AF post loss - Dx: AO + mild PCOS = secondary infertility Provera after 70 days = AF but no O | Provera + 50mg Clomid after 110 days = AF but no O 3 rounds of 100mg Clomid + Estrogen + Progesterone = mixed O results, all BFN hysteroscopy 1/6/12 - removed fibroid tissue injection cycle #1 - 75 IU follistim + ovidrel (triggered 2/9/12) + endometrin = BFP! EDD 11/3/12 | Beta @ 13dpo = 184, 17dpo = 993, 26dpo = >5000 IT'S TWIN BOYS!!     Welcome to the board!  I'm so sorry that your birth was so traumatic though :/  Just glad you are both home safe and sound!  He's absolutely gorgeous :)
