I've noticed, mostly in pictures that my LO's nose looks orangish. I've noticed this in other babies before and never knew what was up. I googled it and it said that if they eat a lot of carrots/sweet potatoes the vitamin A can cause this. My LO has only had breasmilk so that doesn't explain. Anyone elses LO have an orangish tint to their nose? Anyone have an explination?
Re: Orange Nose
Breastmilk has been known to be tinged green if many greens, like spinach, are consumed.
Same goes in this case with the orange tinge. Foods rich in beta carotenes can cause this effect.
Do you eat a lot of sweet potatoes, carrots...squash?
It wouldn't be something I would be overly concerned with.
As long as it's orange and not more of a yellow.
ETA. Dark green veggies have beta carotenes too.. .
