Well, life has been a whirlwind of stuff for us lately but it has started to slow down a little bit so I think I can finally rejoin everyone now. I come by and read everyday and post when I can but it has been few and far in between lately.

Chase is now 17 months and 25 1/2 pounds. He is truly catching up nicely. Little man just started wearing his 12 month clothing though and some of it is still a little big. He can say mama, dada, nana, dog, shoes, juice, milk, and bath. He has 4 teeth and is in the process of cutting 5 more this week(1 being a molar). Yay us! lol He is sleeping through the night some but it has really worked for us because of all the sickness.

After months of Chase staying really sick we found ourselves one night with a child who was coughing to the point he was choking and having trouble breathing. Turns out Chase has severe asthma. At least after all these months, we now know and can start the road to treatment. He had to stay home from daycare all last week to get around the clock breathing treatments as the doctor said we were one breathing treatment away from a hospital stay. Crazy and scary to watch your child go through something like this but we are just so thankful we finally know. We have a visit to a pediatric asthma and allergy specialist tomorrow. They have said they will probably go ahead a do an allergy test on him too to see if anything is helping tricker his asthma. Really hoping this visit will help us better understand everything.

DH and I have started talking about another child. Haven't made up our minds for sure if we will have another but we are talking about it. I will be classified as high risk from day one if I do and it scares me to put another child and my body through it all again but I really don't want Chase to be an only child. Would be the end of this year if we decide to start try again though. Decisions, Decisions!

    Welcome back Smile Glad to hear some good news on your LO. I hope things get better with his asthma. Yay to possibly TTGP.

    Welcome back! I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are one strong mama. I really hope his treatments work and you can finally have a peace of mind. Good luck on your decision to TTC!

    Welcome back! I am glad you were able to figure out what was going on with Chase, even though round-the-clock treatments sounds pretty scary. Still, hopefully that means the worst is all behind you now :D
