Sorry for the late check in today! I had a growth scan this morning and both girls are doing well. I'm 26w3d today and Baby A is measuring around 1 lb, 13 oz (30th percentile) and Baby B is just behind her at 1 lb, 11 oz (23rd percentile). Was a bit concerned that they are still too small but the tech told us not to worry, that those are still very much within the normal range. My cervix had shortened from 3 cm (3 weeks ago) to 2.5 cm today, again, seemed short to me but I was told not to worry... Confused It's still closed, which is good. Praying I can keep these girls in for another 8 or 9 weeks at least.

QOTW: I'm a Colts fan, and Jim Harbaugh used to QB for the Colts, so I did watch part of the Super Bowl and was hoping the 49ers would win. Right around the time when the stadium lights went out, we turned the channel to Downton Abbey. My husband did make some delicious slow-cooked chili in the crockpot, but that was the extent of our Super Bowl celebrations.

Just checking in.....been miserable and sick since Friday....went to Primary Dr and was told I looked "miserable". YUP Dr nailed that one! Ended up having sinus infection and Allergic Rhinitis! Was given 4 things to take....hope it makes me feel better soon! Called into work tomorrow!

Im 18 weeks and due July 8th (if they were Singletons), my Ob said they would not let me go past 37 week so more likely June 15th! I'm having B/G Twins! Just been getting ready for them....next Dr appointment Feb 11th!

QOTD: I had plans to go watch game at my friends but with being sick stayed home...DH went though!

Update: We had our A/S on Friday and all is well with both babies. Both are measuring perfectly and weigh 14 oz. We didn't find out the genders. My cervix is measuring 5 cm, so I am happy!

QOTW: We just watched it at home, no big deal and I didn't really care who won.

After looking through this post I just realized that I never posted on this board that I had my babies! Max Tyler and Sienna Eve were born on January 8th via emergency c/s and they are both healthy and doing great! I had a growth scan at my MFM in the morning and neither baby had grown at all in the 2 weeks since my previous u/s. Sienna was measuring below the 10th percentile and so he felt that it was time for them to come on out. The doctor sent me across the street to the hospital immediately and within 4 hours my babies were born. Sienna was only 4lbs0.5oz and Max was 5lbs13oz. Despite her small size, baby girl spent no time in the NICU which was truly a blessing.

Update: Spent the day in L&D being monitored because I mentioned I hadn't felt one of the girls moving as much as the other during my routine ob appt. While there I had a bunch on contractions so I got an IV, procardia, an fFN test, and a cervical check. The babies were perfect throughout. The contraction stopped after a couple hours and the fFN came back negative, so they discharged me. But now I'm supposed to be on bedrest forr the next couple weeks. I have to call my doctor tomorrow to see what she means specifically. I plan on calling after I get my cervical length checked at the mfm tomorrow. QOTW: We just hung out and watched at home too. No guests. My dh rooted for the Ravens, so he was happy. I had no strong feelings either way.

Update: I think my due date may be wrong above. It was 8/16, but now it's 8/14. Anyway, all is going well. I switched doctors to an ob who is much more experienced with twins, and I'm very happy about it. Saw the babies last Friday and heard the heartbeats for the first time, yay! Gender scan is March 7, and I can't wait.

I was rooting for the 49ers, but they played like crap and I don't dislike Baltimore, so I wasn't torn up about the outcome.

Update: My last appt. with my OB went well. He said if I don't go into labor spontaneously, they will schedule my C-section for week 37 (between March 13-20). I hope we can hold out that long! I have a growth scan with my MFM on Thursday and start my NSTs.

QOTW: Niners! Lifelong fan. My dad has been a season ticket holder for 20 years. I was crushed they played like crap the first half, but the second half was super exciting. I hung out in bed because I was having a bunch of contractions (dehydrated) and DH watched the game in bed with me.

Update: We are 26 weeks and things seem alright. Had a cervical length check last week and my cervix is down to 2.7 but my OB doesn't seem concerned (I AM!). Boys are kicking and raising a ruckus in there but I'm happy they're still on the inside. My heart is still giving me problems and the beta blockers aren't helping much. I had what my cardiologist called an "Attack" today where my pulse shot up to 145 while resting, I'm already hypotensive so I can't take any more medication so it's kind of a shut up and deal situation. I'm grateful I'm not on bed rest but I feel like it's coming. BH have really picked up this week, but again, OB isn't concerned. Other than that all is well.

QOTW: I watched for the commercials and I missed the first hour because I forgot it was on already. Oops.

We had our NT scan last Thursday and everything looks great. Both babies are measuring about a week ahead right now, within 1 day of each other. I put the latest picture in my sig, hopefully it works. I am getting excited to hopefully start feeling them in the next month or so since this is my 2nd time around.

I spent yesterday working and didn't really care who won since the Seahawks didn't make it

My family came over to our house to watch the game. Nothing real exciting. No one was really a huge fan of either team so it was more of a commercial party then a game party.

We had our level 2 u/s yesterday. Everything looked great. Babies are right where they should be and doctor even said they look "perfect". What a relief!!!

Update: We had an appointment last Friday at 17 weeks and during the U/S learned we are Team Blue! Two baby boys. Shocked....but it seems more real every day. Beyond that, both kiddos are doing great--both are measuring about 5 days ahead and look healthy and strong.

QOTD: We were cheering for the Ravens, but really.....not strongly attached to either team. Though I do love football! We didn't do anything, we just had our "own" superbowl party and made home made pizza and hung out. It was nice.

Hi!! I had some cramping on Sunday night that turned out to be nothing when I was checked at my Monday morning appointment. Both babies looked great, however, they didn't get to finish my a/s because I wasn't feeling well. Babies were weighing in at 10 oz and wiggling around.

Lately I have felt like I fell on a balance beam. ugh! I asked the doctors and they said that it was a normal feeling especially with twins. Looking forward to finishing my a/s next Monday. We are having a Gender Reveal on the 16th! Big Smile

AS is next week and I dont think a series of days has ever gone so slow. My dr was such a sticklier for 20 weeks and people due after me already know. Im frustrated! Ha. No super bowl parties just house work.

I'm 29w3d -- and feeling it! I've noticed a significant change in how uncomfortable & more easily worn out I feel within the last week or so. We had an ultrasound last week, and both little guys are looking good, though, which was again good to hear. I've got an OB appointment today, so hoping to get confirmation that everything is right on track.

QOTW: I really didn't care about the SuperBowl, to be honest. I was sorting hand-me-down baby clothes (why haven't I done this before now?) & cleaning the house. Fun, huh? I did go back & watch some of Beyonce's performance on youtube

I have my 16 week u/s and first cervix check this Friday. I don't know why, but I am so nervous for this appt.! It's the longest we've gone without seeing the babies, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. We may also get a peek at the babies sexes (crossing fingers!!)

QOTW: I was super sick during the game - have a combo cough/cold/flu bug that I just can't seem to shake. yuck.

18 weeks today. So far everything is going well. I still have nausea here and there but not the entire day like the first trimester. Now I'm getting headaches but again, nothing that can't be tolerated.

DW and I just started talking about cribs and where these two babies will go within our home. I also picked up a brand new Graco Snugride 35 for $90 at BRU this weekend. We still have DD's car seat so that means the twins have their seats, I just have to figure out how they are all going to fit in the car.

QOTD - we watched off and on. DW and I both grew up in the Bay Area so rooting for the Niners made sense but we weren't heartbroken by the loss.

Hi there!

We go for our 2nd trimester u/s on Friday. Is that what the a/s is that everyone refers to? Not sure what a/s means lol. We have gone in twice to try and see genders but one baby keeps that umbilical cord right in the way. We know we have a girl (Audrey Julianne) coming, but we haven't been able to see what the other baby is. Doc thinks boy but we hopefully will have full confirmation on Friday. Nervous to start getting the cervical checks and all of the other things that come with progressing on this journey, but also excited. My mom had twins (my older brothers) and they came 2.5 months early, so I know it's a very real possibility. Keeps me on my toes! Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL week!

I have an OB appointment this afternoon and am so excited to see the LOs! Recently I have felt both girls kicking at the same time, and it is so cool! For the Super Bowl we had a big party. I cooked chili for everyone - 5 pounds of ground turkey's worth! DH made the corn bread, and we had chips, salsa and guacamole too. We are Colts fans so we weren't pulling for a specific team. I am glad the end of the game turned out to be exciting though!

I had a high bp scare yesterday and went to L&D but everything is okay and they sent me home after running labs. BPP, NST and OB appt tomorrow...

Just counting the days! 20 to be exact.

We did nothing for SB but my son (almost 2) did watch the halftime show and amused us with some awesome dancing!

Starting to show which is fun! We have our elective this week which is super exciting. Sickness has pretty much gone away and I am so happy about that. Now onto the RLP. I have a lot of it!

QOTW: No plans, it was a nice quiet night home. I was leaning toward wanting the 49ers to win because I have family in the SF area and they are 49er fans. But honestly, I was not going to be upset one way or the other. Thought it was a pretty good game considering the power outage really spun the momentum.

Hello very late check in but I will have mono/mono girls just found out last Wednesday 1/30/13 the sex of the babies. They will be coming early due to not finding a membrane, the doctor are taking them in May instead of the initial due date in July, In addition going on hospital bed in April as well, but the girls are doing awesome. I will be 18 weeks on Friday (2/8/13).
