Hi ladies,
I've been really bad about being on this board for the past month (month and a half?). I've been finally getting to know fellow mommies on my BMB, and been having a lot of fun being distracted by the shared timelines of all our babies.
But of course, there's nothing quite like the familiar comfort of PAL. The success of finally having a rainbow baby, after a loss, and really being encouraged daily by their mere presence in our lives.
So here's my (first) question: For those of you got pregnant after having your rainbow baby, was it easier the second time around? Or were the nerves as frazzled as before? I don't plan on even TTC for a few years, but this question has been on my mind lately, and I would love to hear from you ladies on it. I mean, I know we are all individuals and every pregnancy is different, but seeing how similar our PGAL's minds were, I was wondering if the experience would be as nerve wracking the second time around ~ or whether the affirmation of having had one take home baby helped calm things down emotionally with the subsequent pregnancy. I guess I'm just trying to prepare myself mentally YEARS in advance lol ;P
And my second question . . . is there no longer one BPF thread? Are we just posting our own pics, of our own LO's all on Fridays? JW for next Friday

~All AL'ers welcome~
TTCing again made me a little nervous that it would take a long time again or that we would have another loss but I was much more calm about it this time around. Amazingly we got lucky on our first cycle. I've been very Zen this time around. I have been busy with DD so not as much time to dwell. And I also think I feel better bc I know I have her and I'm a mom now. Last time around my fear was of never being a mother. Overall it has been much easier.
Also, from 1, I knew what issues I didn't have. I didn't have IC, so I breathed much easier during 16w to 24w, whereas with number 1, I didn't know if I had IC.
Also I was much more busy with number 1 during the day, so I found myself not obsessing over the new pg as much. But when I didn't have a kid at home, I had all the free time in the world to obsess. The pg went much quicker.
