"Older" moms and MaterniT21

I've noticed a few posters saying they are getting the MaterniT21 because of their age or because they are "older." Does anybody mind sharing what age or if they know the age range when it is recommended by their OB?

I'm 32 and my OB does not classify me as "advanced maternal age" for this pregnancy. Just wondering what others have experienced.

35 is the magic number..I am 37, and will be 38 when I deliver. But if you want the test done, you can request it, it is a blood draw

I'm 35 so "advance maternal age" as pp said. I'm getting this tomorrow.

I am 38 will be 39 on Friday. 35 is the magic number. I am also doing the testing because my husbands nephew is Downs so we want to have a heads up just in case.

I was told since I'm over 35 she would recommend it.

I'm 34 having the testing done. I'm not classed as high risk or of advanced aged but it was offered to me and ad this is my first baby, I want to take the steps to be sure my little one is healthy.
