What is my LO doing in there??

Lately I've felt him roll and Strech and kick, I think he is laying sideways because I keep feeling him kick or punch me on my far right side. If he was head down wouldn't I feel his kicks up high and not on the sides???
This kid is so active!
I hope I don't have a wild child in there!
It's great to feel him but wow it's intense sometimes, almost makes me sick to my stomach.
Anyone else have a wild child???
I'm 31 weeks now, I thought they were suppose to calm down after 29ish weeks??? I'm a FTM also.

    my baby girl is very active as well. It makes me smile every time i feel her so i don't really mind it. :)

    I've had the exact same experience as you, OP, and assumed baby was transverse, but doc says he is head down... so the lower quadrant stuff must be his arms and upper stuff his legs!

    If anything baby's movements have increased lately, in both strength and frequency!  She is pumping those crazy legs in there like she's biking the Tour De France and the big rolls and stretches leave me doubled over and queasy sometimes too.  DH jokes that she's going to come out looking like a little body-builder.

    Yes my little girl doesn't stop. She is squished in my left rib cage

    LOL.  I say this at least 5 times a day.  I am loving every moment of it though, well almost every moment, there have been a few painful kicks.

    Right there with ya! Sometimes it feels like she's trying to escape through my belly, and I get all lopsided because she pushes out so far!

    my little girl is going crazy in there too!  It really does feel like she's trying to break her way out of there sometimes. I'm also feeling kicks and rolls on the sides and lower, as well as on the top.  At my last two doctor appointments, the doctor said that she was lying in a head-down position, but at this point I think they can still flip around completely.
