    Some people are too quick to jump on others.  I don't care that she has 4 kids...  If this is her husband's first and her family is throwing a shower, then so be it.  It's not like women throw their own showers.

    I didn't get to read your specific link, just went right to the source.  Will have to check that out later.

    Oh I guess on mobile it don't cut off the link but on my computer it did.

    I know everyone's circle of friends/family does different things when it comes to showers. In my family...a with my friends, we feel every baby is worth celebrating. First one, you register and get most of the gear and such. Any other kid after, it's smaller, there is food, no registering, and people get you small things like an outfit, blanket, bath soaps, etc. So although none of us would register for a 4th child, we wouldn't side eye it knowing that it was the 1st child on the dad's side and his friends/family may want to get the bigger items. Some ladies will jump down your throat about it....not once did she say she was expecting people to pay for her child or anything, she wasn't throwing her own shower, etc. It may not be the norm for some to celebrate every baby, but for some families.....it is the norm. But in the second thread, I think calling the baby shower ladies nazi's was uncalled for.

    I get being a little snarky, although I'm not, but some of those ladies are being horrific for no reason than because they can.  It's just silly to me.

    Wow is right. I think what gets me the most is how she asked a simple question and was attacked for having a shower. I just don't have the energy to care how many kids, showers, whatever people have. It's not worth it.
