3d 4d questions
So I want to find out gender of babies did anyone find out early? There's a 3d 4d place by my house says they can tell as early as 13 weeks, if they can't tell they will bring you back for free to redo ultrasound. Has anyone found out this early? I won't to go so bad I'm a shopaholic and I won't to go shopping for the twins. I like to have everything before hand I'm not the last minute shopper I like to have plenty.

I was on my birth month page a week or so ago and read about a gal who found out at 13w that she was having a girl. She painted her nursey pink and did a ton of shopping, etc, only to find out at her 20w ultrasound that she was having a boy. She was so frustrated at all the effort and money spent preparing, it was a real shame. The board consensus was that any gender scan before 20w is little better than an educated guess and risky to invest in pink or blue til then. The time between now and 20 weeks will pass quick and you can spend it researching all your options online, if you decide to wait!

While some have learned the genders as early as the NT scan, I would be wary of anyone advertising a gender reveal at 13w- especially if they tell you they are certain. Some will say, "I think it is a xxx, but don't buy anything yet," which seems a little more realistic. Of course, this is coming from a woman who was told the wrong gender for baby b at 16w (by a tech at the MFM...an "expert" sonographer no less!).
