Hi Ladies,
I am planning on becoming a stay at home mom once the baby is born.
Anyone planning on doing the same? I am hoping to meet some more people and other moms! Any activities in the area I should look into?
I live in Wilmington and am due in May:)
Thanks:)
Re: Future SAHM
The Rowdy Roberts
Hi there,
I'm currently already a SAMH. There really isnt too much you can do with a newborn or a young baby. There are always things like introducing baby to the water and pool, walks in a park, and just socializing the baby with other people but other then that I found it a bit hard to do anything since the baby is so young and can only do so much. I found that around the age of 8-9 months is when the baby really becomes more interactive where you can do more things like Gymboree and baby gyms etc. There is always the zoo too.
Hey, I am due in May also! Congrats! I'm expecting my 2nd, but I am a working mom.
I agree the activities become a little more interesting once they are bigger...we started doing Little Gym when she was around 1...just recently got a membership for Longwood Gardens in Kennett, since I'm in the Newark area we hit up the Plumpton Park zoo over in MD but I hear Brandywine Zoo is nice too. Can't forget about the Children's Museum by the riverfront...

I popped in and out of thenest board and I think I asked you if you were a May mom at some point. I was May 30 with my first (but due May 26)...and now I'm due with my 2nd on May 25. Doh!

Hi! Congrats on your pregnancy
I'm due any day now. I'll be a working mommy but will have off on Fridays to spend time with my son. I would love to meet up with other mommies!
