Hi there!
I'm looking through portable play yards and trying to figure out what we will need...but height just came to mind. I'm not terribly tall at 5'8", but he's 6'4" and want to make it comfortable for him to change the baby at, bending down, etc... Any recommendations for tall parents? We'd use it plenty at home, but when we visit friends or family that goes later than bedtime, would like a great option.
Thanks in advance!
Re: STMs - Best Portable Play Yard for Tall Parents?
We got a chico 4 years ago. It was great having in our room, but we have barely taken it anywhere.
Pretty much all pack n plays are the same height, unfortunately. They dont really make them teller. DH is 6f3 and never bothers with the changing table part. It is just too low, so he just sits on the floor.

All PnPs (or whatever brand) that I have seen are the same height. I hate the changing table on my PnP and wish I had gotten a cheaper one with just the bassinet part- no changing table or mobile. It's easier to change on a bed or the floor. If I am remembering correctly, it's not recommended to leave the changing table part on when LO is sleeping in the PnP, and it's a pain to take on and off.

Thanks everyone for the info! I'm thinking we go with a simple PnP without the changing part... And smack myself on the head about the high dresser changing option - what a great idea! Seriously, I think my brain just isn't working today... ;-)
These ladies are giving you good advice. My husband and I are both 6'3" and with our first, we didn't even have a changing table! We just changed him in his crib and then on a bed or on the floor.
I will say being tall, the one thing I really paid attention to was the stroller ... tested out all of them to find which one had the tallest handles for pushing.
