good/ great high risk ob-gyn in Chattanooga

Hi ladies,

 I've lived in Chattanooga for 5 years but I'm from Knoxville and I have a dr. up there but its hard to get an appt with her so I figured I would find one down here since I now live  here with my husband. This will be our first baby but I have been told by all my doctors that I will be a high risk because of my medical past. So can my Chatt mommies tell/ give me recommendation  for the best high risk obs in the Chatt Area, because I want the best chance for my baby to be health for the whole pregnancy.

    First of all, Congratulations!

    I go to the Chattanooga Center for Women.  It is on Ziegler Road, off Gunbarrel.  There are 4 CNMs & 3 OBs.  I have been very well taken care of there & I am considered high risk for several reasons. At about 18 weeks I was referred to specialists at ROC (Regional Obset. Center) which is downtown & part of Erlinger, I think.  They have been good to me, putting fears to rest & testing whatever is necessary. 

    I hope this helps, and that you find someone that you are comfortable with.  I know it is hard to start over trusting new doctors.  I moved here a little over 4 years ago from Iowa.  I have had very little contact with doctors here & was clueless with who to turn to, but was kind of forced to make some decisions when I got pregnant.

    Dr. Torres is amazing!! He saved my baby's life. Dr. Adair is a superb doctor (honestly the best at the practice but he is hard to get since he is the head dr.) Dr. Sunny is not my favorite there.

    Dr Sunny was actually my savior there... She stood by me in the hospital & listened to me & my concerns when it seemed no one else would.  I am very grateful for Dr Sunny.  Dr Kipi is good too, a little monotone... but a good Dr.  Dr Torres was supposed to be my Dr. exclusively, but he was never around when I needed him.
