And only DS here to vent to and he's sleeping so here it goes

DH's grandma is thinking about selling an old house she has and no one is living in.  The house is crap but its on an acre of land (rare for where it is).  So DH decides he would like to have this land if we can afford it.  We offer to have an appraisal done and pay for it.  Grandma wanted to pay but we told the appraiser to send it to us.  So he does send it to us on 11/28.  I tell DH to call grandma because she will be wondering why she's not getting it.  He says he will stop at her house next time he is out that way.  He is out of town now and I get a call today from his grandma and an email from the appraiser.  Grandma wants to know when she gets the appraisal so she can pay it and she is calling the appraiser and he wants to know what to do.  UGH.  If DH would have just called her when I asked him to this wouldn't be an issue.

Vent #2.  We have 3 dogs of our own and used to foster dogs for a local orginization.  Since we had DS we don't foster any more.  Well my sisters boyfriend (JERK that NO ONE likes) has a dog that he shouldn't have taken in the first place but he did.  About a month ago he had enough of the dog....too much chewing, work, etc and was going to kill the dog.  She stopped him and we took the dog in until she could make other arrangements.  Our ONLY reason for taking the dog was to keep him alive.  I realize places are over crowded but i NEED to get rid of this dog and NO ONE will help!!  The orginization i used to work for will take in a dog if the cops call and say they have a medical emergecy with a found dog or if a dog just shows up but if someone calls in desperate need to find a different home for a dog they will be turned away.  our local humane society has a waiting list from summer and animal control will probably kill the dog.

I am just so frustrated in general right now.  there are many other things but i don't even feel like typing them out right now.  if you made it this far, thanks for reading.  not sure i am looking for any feedback, just needed to vent and i know you ladies will always listen (read)

    You should post on the pets board and see if any of them know of a rescue. With the rescue you've worked with put him on pet finder while you keep him. At least that would get the ball rolling.?

    Thats an idea but he is a pit bull.  Now before anyone gets all worked up we have had MANY pits and they are GREAT dogs, very affectionate.  They can be trained to be bad but they aren't bad by nature.  I know as soon as people see pit they will turn away because so many people think they are a bad breed
