Did you get the Linea Nigra Line?

Out of curiosity, when did you get the linea nigra line? From everything I read a while ago it made it sound like every woman gets it, but I still haven't gotten it yet. Maybe I got off lucky? I am pretty fair complected, and I read it usually appears more noticable the more pigment you have in your skin, but I am just curious about other mom's having a baby around the same time as me.

I'm very fair skinned but I do have it and have had it for quite a while. It's BARELY visible, but it's there. The not-so-barely-visible stretch marks are another story.

I was thinking about this the other day. I had one last time and it took months if not a year to go away but nothing has appeared this time around. Maybe it is too early though? I know I didn't really answer your question, sorry.

I had heard that fair-complected women are less likely to get it, BUT, those with fair skin and dark hair get it often. I am fair with naturally blonde hair (with some red in it), and so far no sign...

I never noticed it last time until after delivery. I think it showed up when my skin was no longer stretched out. It hung around for a good 56 months after.

I got it with DD1 by 18 weeks, I don't have one this time. It took over 18 months for it to go away from the first pregnancy.

Mine just showed up a couple weeks ago. I have read that not everyone gets one. Like 2/3 or something like that. I thought I wasn't getting one, but it just recently popped up. Very light though.

I'm a FTM and my hubby noticed it really early (don't remember when by 12-14 weeks maybe). I'm pretty olive skinned though with dark hair so I think my coloring probably makes me more prone to have it.

I did with DS1, though I can't remember exactly when. I am almost 22 weeks (lurking from June as DS1 was 6wks early) and don't have it yet this time! It's no big deal, mine faded away quickly after birth.

I'm 27 weeks and don't have one. I'm very fair skinned, though, but I have dark hair. I MIGHT have a super-short one about an inch long coming from my belly button, but it's hard to tell - I have old surgery scars in/around my belly button that look all weird now... so it's a little hard to tell what's what.

I had a very dark one for my first pregnancy. I got it around 16 weeks. For this pregnancy I though for sure it would return just as dark but it's barely there this time.

I don't have one either, not at all. My friend who is a month behind me already got hers so I don't know if I will. I asked my mom out of curiousity if she got one and she said no. I think maybe a genetic thing. I am not worried about it, everyones skin is different.

My super light line showed up around week 23. I too have heard that it's more prominent in darker skinned women. FWIW, I'm 1/2 black and 1/2 white, which is why (I'm guessing) my line is so light. My mom NEVER got it (she's white) but my gama had it with all 4 of her pregnancies (she's black).

Mine never went away from my last pregnancy. It hasn't gotten darker yet though. It got really dark last time.

I don't know when mine started, but it's definitely there. I noticed a pretty dark line below my belly (pretty much just down near my crotch) quite a while back, I wanna say somewhere around Thanksgiving. A couple weeks ago, I noticed that it's starting to creep above my belly button but is still pretty faint. It's definitely there as DH can see it, but it's not as dark as the line down below. I'm Asian so I'm not sure if that has something to do with either since my skin and hair color is naturally darker.

I just noticed mine today! I'm fair skinned with dark hair. I'm really glad that I had glanced at a post recently about a "pregnancy line," or I would probably have freaked out. I've never heard of it before.

It's barely noticeable... I think it's kind of neat. I had a sudden urge to paint my stomach into a tribal pattern, emphasizing the line, and take pictures. I avoided the urge.

During my last pregnancy, I remember noticing the line around the time my nurse started measuring my fundal height. I'm really pale skinned and it was pretty noticeable.

This time around? I'm 27 weeks and some days and still don't see one.

I remember it taking a while to fade, too. Maybe 6 ish months?
