Baby proofing.

We have a small table between the recliner where I nurse the baby and his crib, and on this table we keep various things like storybooks, the occasional glass of water, pacifiers, and a flashlight I use to locate said pacifiers in the middle of the night when he has spit them out. This is how I found DS when I came home from work tonight. I think it's time to do some babyproofing.

Re: Baby proofing.

  • Is that red hair?? He is super cute.

Lo was in the kitchen and I saw him getting ready to eat a peanut. Babyproofing in full swing at our house now too!

  • His hair is light brown/dark blonde, but it looks reddish in photos.

It still amazes me that he reached behind his head, pulled the flashlight off the table and through the crib slats, and was just checking it out. I think it's pretty funny, but you can bet I'll be taking a closer look at what I put on that table!

Jacky's looks red in some pics too.

I can just imagine his sense of accomplishment :) It amazes me how tricksy they can be

  • Haha! He's totally been eyeing that for months!
We found the mesh bumper invaluable to keeping pacifiers in the crib for DS. We'd just dump a few in each night so he could find them as he needed them.

I have been hunting the red pacifier for a few weeks now. We just happened to move DS's crib this weekend to rearrange some of the artwork on the wall behind it, and -tada!- there's the paci. Our mesh bumpers are great except around the corners where there are perfect paci-sized gaps b/n the bumper and the matress.

OMG Your DS is so adorable! And smart too!

We bought those electric plug protector thingies (lol) over the weekend because DS is starting to really move around now. He loves grabbing everything!

  • James has gotten mobile, we're in the process of baby proofing.  Apparently the living room is full of treasures he'd love to get his hands on.
